Family Energy (“we,” “us”) is a scheduling tool for independent musicians. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it — including data from platforms you connect, such as TikTok.

1. Information we collect

Connected account information. When you connect a social account, we receive basic profile information so we can confirm and display which account is linked and post to it. From TikTok, using the user.info.basic scope, this is your open ID, display name, and avatar.
Authorization tokens. We securely store the access and refresh tokens each platform issues so we can publish on your behalf. We never receive or store your platform password.
Content you provide. The music videos, captions, and schedules you upload to be published.
Operational data. Basic logs needed to run the Service and deliver your scheduled posts.

2. How we use your information

To identify and display the accounts you have connected.
To publish the content you schedule, to the accounts you connected, at the times you set. For TikTok, we use the video.publish scope to post your scheduled video directly to your own TikTok profile.
We do not use your content for advertising, and we never publish anything you did not upload and schedule yourself.

3. TikTok data

We access TikTok through its official APIs in accordance with the TikTok Terms of Service and TikTok Developer policies. We request only the scopes needed to provide the Service — user.info.basic to identify your account and video.publish to post the videos you schedule. TikTok data is used solely to operate the features you requested; it is not sold or shared with third parties.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share your content only with the platforms you choose to connect, for the sole purpose of publishing your scheduled posts. We may disclose information if required by law.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your authorization tokens and connected-account information only while your account is connected. When you disconnect a platform — or ask us to delete your data — we revoke and delete the associated tokens and stop all posting for that account. To request deletion, contact [email protected].

6. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted transport and restricted access to stored tokens.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their information.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above.
